Argenta

Argenta is one of the characters supporting the Rogue Trader in their endeavors.

Background

Daughter of imperial officers, she was orphaned at a young age, and put under the care of the Schola Progenium, an educative institution, which trained her to become one of the Emperor's chosen: the Adepta Sororitas. Upon joining her new sisters, the faithful girl was re-baptized Argenta, in the honor of a Saint of the Calixis Sector and the Koronus Expanse. She later was assigned a mission within the Expanse, on the remote outpost of Footfall, where she was to guard a sacred reliquary. However, she will be led away from her mission for reasons yet unknown.

Gameplay

Argenta starts the game with the Soldier class, which focuses on ranged combat. Her origin is a Sister of Battle, which is functionally the same as a Ministorum Priest. Her homeworld is an Imperial World. She starts the game with Bolter and Flame Weapon Proficiencies. She starts with a Level 3 Dogmatic conviction.

Recruitment

Argenta is recruited automatically during the game's prologue. She is recruited at level 1, so the player has control of all of her level-ups. She comes equipped with an Autopistol, a Mesh Chestplate, a Medikit, and her personal Boltgun Unfading Valour.

Behind the scenes

Argenta could be spotted on the key art revealed for the game announcement on June 1, 2022, but was only fully introduced with a web article on October 14.
