Originating from the Warp, Chaos is primordial destruction and corruption made manifest. Daemons are born and thrives from the deepest and vilest desires of mortals species echoing from psychic reverberation into the Warp. They answer to the four Chaos Gods, who want only for the destruction of realspace and its absorption into the Warp. Chaos not only destroy anything in its path, but corrupt all it can touch, promising immenses rewards to its servitors, leading to insidious cults among mortals, especially in the population of the Imperium of Man. Chaos Space Marines are a prime example of this, and their constant Crusades is one of the main threat to the Imperium.[1]
